Charles is the current President for The Abstract & Guaranty Company of Lincoln County. He has worked for the company for over 19 years. This is his second time as the President of the Oklahoma Land Title Association. He was last President in 2012-2013.
Charles is a 1987 graduate of Davenport High School and has completed courses at Seminole State College. He has an active abstract and title insurance license. In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors, University of Oklahoma athletics and spending time with family and friends.
Michael Cantrell is the Operations Manager for Wagoner County Abstract Company in Wagoner, OK. He graduated from Northeastern State University in 2003 and has worked at Wagoner County Abstract since 1997. Michael has also served as United Methodist Men President at his church and is currently the Lay Leader for Coaches Outreach Bible Study in Wagoner. He and his wife Amy have two children, Jacob and Liz.
Manager of Cherokee Capitol Abstract and Tahlequah Abstract Company in Tahlequah. She graduated from Choctaw High School where she met and married her sweetheart Bill. They have two children, Kaitie and Drew. She has worked in the abstract and title industry since 1977. She received her Paralegal Degree from the University of Oklahoma.
Cichon is Vice President of Smith Brothers Abstract & Title Co. located in Tulsa. He graduated from Northside Christian Academy in 1985 and has worked in the abstract and title industry for the past 28 years (the last 20 years with Smith Bros.). He is married to Brandi and has 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl.
Mary Stone has been employed with Pioneer Abstract and Title Company of Muskogee for the past nine years. She is the proud mother of two creative and talented children, is a licensed abstractor, and a licensed title insurance agent. Mary excels at researching, platting, problem solving, and every other facet of abstracting. Her jobs include the many areas of abstracting, providing in-house tech support, and being the system administration for Pioneer’s indexing software and controlling software. She completed the OLTA Leadership Program for 2014-2015. In addition to various degrees, credits, and certifications, Mary attended Connors State College, Northeastern State University, and Oklahoma State University – Institute of Technology.

Kristi French is the Vice President and Title Operations Manager/Underwriter for American Eagle Title Insurance Company in Oklahoma City. She has worked in the abstract and title industry for the past 10+ years and is the third generation from her family in this industry. She completed the Leadership Program for OLTA in 2012, and currently serves on various committees. She also is a licensed Abstractor and Title Insurance agent.
Kristi is married to Sean French, she enjoys traveling the country with him for his videography company and spending quality time with family and loved ones.
Jerry L. Hemry
Born and raised OKC. Graduate of U of Okla- Business Administration-accounting and Law degrees. Graduate of U of Michigan -Master of Law Degree. Practicing Attorney 56 years with time out for 2 years as 1st Lt U.S. Army, 3rd Armored Div, Frankfurt, Germany.7 Grandkids-6 girls and 1 boy. First job for title company- 1952- Abstract delivery “boy” for American 1st Title and Trust Co, OKC.
J. T. Beard is the Agency Services Manager of Oklahoma for Stewart Title Guaranty Company. He completed the Leadership Program this past year, and currently serves on the Education, Technology, and Public Relations committees. J. T. is a fourth generation abstractor following in the footsteps of his father Herschel, his grandfather Norvell, great-grandfather Ollie Logan “O. L.”, as well as his maternal grandparents Dick and Ollie Jennings of Sulphur Abstract. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2010 going to work with his father. He joined recently joined Stewart Title Guaranty in September 2013. He and his wife, Megan, reside in Edmond with their 2 year old son, Jack, and another baby on the way.
Glenda Mittasch is the President and Co-Owner of Powers Abstract Company in Perry, Oklahoma. Glenda graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1976 with an Associates Degree in Business Administration. She began working in the abstract and title industry as summer help, in 1975 for Southern Abstract Company in Bartlesville and after graduation she went to work for the Noble County Clerk’s office as First Deputy until 1979. She left the Clerks office and was employed by Powers Abstract Company as a typist at the courthouse, until the birth of her daughter in 1981. Glenda also worked as a petroleum land person from 1981 through 1986, when she and her husband purchased Powers Abstract Company. Glenda celebrated 40 years this May, in the land title business and the past 29 years, as owner and manager of Powers Abstract Company. Glenda served as association President in 1995 and has served on the board and numerous OLTA committees.
Glenda is married to Dennis Mittasch, and has two married children, and 5 grandchildren. Glenda and Dennis live on a farm north of Morrison, Ok, and in her free time, enjoys traveling, gardening, sewing and playing with her grandchildren.
Vanessa has worked for Old Republic Title for 17 years, initially as an Escrow Closer/Manager later moving into her current position as Agency Representative. A graduate of LSU, Vanessa has lived in Oklahoma for 35 years though still keeps Shreveport, Louisiana close to her heart. Husband Mike and she are avid Thunder fans and love their “four-legged kids” they have accumulated on their land just outside of Guthrie, Oklahoma.
April is a native Tulsan and recently moved to the Oklahoma City area with her two boys, 5 and 3, in 2011. She is currently employed at Midland Mortgage, a division of Midfirst Bank. April has a passion for organization, travel and events. She’s worked in the events industry for almost a decade and has spent time in over 20 countries. She has been with the OLTA as Executive Secretary since 2015.
Clayton C. Taylor of Oklahoma City serves as the principal of the Taylor Group that he established in 1994. The Taylor Group is a full-service lobbying and consulting firm specializing in Oklahoma business issues. Their service capabilities include business management and communications consulting, direct lobbying of state and federal legislative and regulatory agencies, community relations, political action committees and campaign management, and marketing and client recruitment and development. Their in-depth experience ranges from local to statewide to federal, and includes extensive international business and political management, as well.

Maria has worked in the closing and title insurance department at Oklahoma Closing and Title Services the last 12 years. She and her husband, Dustin, have two children, Emily and Hunter, and live in Stillwater.
Charis Ward is First American Title Insurance Company’s State Agency Counsel for Oklahoma. Before joining First American in 2014 she practiced law with the law firm of Lamun Mock Cunningham and Davis, P.C., in Oklahoma City focusing on real estate, banking and commercial law. Prior to her legal career Ms. Ward was an economic analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Texas. She received her BBA in Finance, BA Economics, and MA in Applied Economics from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas in 1999 and 2000 respectively, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas Tech School of Law in 2006.Ms. Ward is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma Title Examination Standards Committee. She is a Director and Officer for the Real Property Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association and a Director for the Oklahoma City Real Property Lawyers Group. Ms. Ward is a Director for Neighborhood Services Organization (NSO), a non-profit that provides health and dental services to the public at large as well as permanent and transitional housing to the mentally ill and to young men who have aged out of foster care while teaching them life skills to transform their lives. She is a member of Leadership Oklahoma City Class 34 “The Best Class Ever” ,a recipient of the Journal Record’s 2015 Achievers Under 40 Award and the proud “paw”rent of two purebred mutts – Molly and Bella Mae
From agencies to direct operations, KC has an array of knowledge and background in the title industry. KC has been in the title industry for 16 years in various roles from policy to closing to his current position as Agency Services Manager. He currently manages numerous agents for the state of Texas and Oklahoma, that are licensed with Stewart. KC played collegiate baseball in Oklahoma for Hall of Fame coach Lloyd “Zero” Simmons at Seminole State College, in Seminole Oklahoma, before moving on to continue playing collegiate baseball in Alabama.
KC is married and has three children. When not working, he likes to be active in the community, take vacations and enjoy the outdoors especially through fishing and hunting.
